About this policy

WordCraftApp operates wordcraftapp.com, an independent English-language resource for WordCraft download guides, direct online access, basic operation tutorials, and comparisons with Microsoft Word. WordCraft is developed by ArtCraft. WordCraftApp is not affiliated with ArtCraft or Microsoft.

This policy covers our website and the WordCraft web build we host. Contact us at support@wordcraftapp.com with privacy questions or requests.

Using WordCraft online

The online editor runs the WordCraft web build in your browser. Opening a local document in the editor processes that file in the browser; WordCraftApp does not provide a document-upload or cloud-storage service. Save or export your work to your device and keep your own backups.

Your browser requests the files needed to load the editor, so our hosting provider receives normal connection information. Browser storage may retain application preferences or cached resources. Clearing browser data can remove these items. Documents or screenshots you choose to send to support are handled as support correspondence, as described below.

Downloads

The download guide links to WordCraft releases published by the developers on GitHub. Following those links sends a request to GitHub, which handles information under its privacy statement. External product pages and community links follow their own privacy practices.

Information processed by the website

• Visits and security: hosting and security services may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, referral information and request times to deliver pages, diagnose problems and prevent abuse.
• Optional accounts: if you use site sign-in features, we process account details such as your name, email address, password hash and session information. Reading guides, following download links and launching the editor do not require a site account.
• Support: when you email us or submit a support request, we process your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to include. For a broken link or tutorial question, the page URL and a description of the issue are usually sufficient.
• Optional integrations: if analytics, advertising or chat tools are enabled, those services may process page interactions, device information and identifiers according to their configuration. These tools do not turn the online editor into a document cloud-storage service.

Cookies and browser storage

Sign-in features use cookies to maintain sessions. The website may also store appearance preferences and referral information. The website displays English and does not require a language-selection cookie.

Optional analytics, advertising or chat services may use their own cookies or browser storage when enabled. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, and clearing site storage may reset preferences.

How information is used and shared

We use information to run and protect WordCraftApp, maintain optional accounts, improve guides and respond to support requests. Service providers may process information as needed for hosting, security, email and any enabled integrations. Our Cloudflare hosting is subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy. Providers may process information in countries other than your own.

We do not offer visitor information for sale. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website and its users.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, including handling support requests, maintaining active accounts, protecting the site and meeting applicable legal obligations. We use access controls and session protection, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can manage browser storage, choose whether to use optional account features, and contact support@wordcraftapp.com to request access, correction or deletion of information associated with you. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights, such as objecting to certain processing or making a complaint to a data protection authority. We may request information needed to verify that a request concerns your data.

Changes
